No, this is not me – but some day soon…

I’m so excited. Just by following four of the five resolutions I made (number five doesn’t start until March) I dropped 3 ½ lbs this week. I know it’s that first week of losing water weight, and chances of this kind of loss are atypical (and not too healthy!) But I’m very excited, nonetheless.

True to my promise of allowing myself to shop when I reach my weekly goal of two pounds, I jumped online and ordered a pot of my favorite face cream. Gotta keep the skin tight!

A friend sent me the link to Jimmy Thomas’ personal trainer
site. I browsed around for nearly an hour and found all kinds of helpful things. Diets and cooking tips, exercises, self-defense tips. I’m really impressed by how much he has available.

This I found very interesting: Peanuts, are actually  legumes, like beans and peas, and as most also believe, on the contrary, peanuts and peanut butter, eaten in moderation won’t make you fat. The paragraph goes on to explain more, but I bolted to the kitchen and made myself some peanut butter apple slices. Yummy!

I finally made it to my aunt’s apartment yesterday to put her Christmas decorations away. I think I got the bad end of the deal, though. Our other relatives who put up all the decoration went Christmas-Crazy in November, and filled every flat surface with stuff, took down pictures from the walls and hung more stuff, and generally turned her apartment into a scene from a holiday version of The Hoarders.
