Thanksgiving is over, and there’s less than a month before Christmas. What are my priorities for this time period? I’m rewriting a story I wrote a few years ago, and I will be submitting it to an editor I met at the Emerald City Writers’ Conference in Seattle, WA in October.

There’s always shopping to do, and I am most happy when I can shop online and let UPS deliver things to my door.

Holiday parties start next weekend, and I’m glad to say none of them will be held at my house. We’ve done a lot of entertaining in our lives, and the stress and expense seemed to dull the enjoyment we gained from spending time with family and friends. Now, we meet at restaurants! All the fun, none of the wear-and-tear.

This holiday season, I’m setting a list of goals. Things I want to accomplish, both in my writing career, and in my relationships with friends, family, and writing co-workers. I think that might be the only way for me to make certain nothing, and more importantly – no one – gets missed.
